Costumes Encouraged: Samhain Ritual 2009: begins 4 p.m. {Des Moines}

Event: Sat., Oct. 31, 2009 ~ Samhain/Halloween led by Octavia ~ 4–11p.m.

The Earth Based Halloween Ritual will be a family friendly fun time! We will start our parade for Trick-or-Treating at the Des Moines U.U. church at 4 PM.

We will return to the church around 6:30 p.m. to set everything up for the ritual.

FOR LATER THIS HALLOWED NIGHT: Please, bring a Jack' O lantern and a picture of a loved one who has passed over.

The ritual will be family-friendly and will focus on the joy and love that we share with those we love including the ones beyond the veil.

LATE NIGHT CELEBRATION: After the ritual please stay and enjoy a fun old-fashioned Halloween party. Please bring food (as you are able) to share at the potluck shared during the party. We will bob for apples, eat donuts off strings, have a cupcake walk and have a lot more games! If you want to bring Halloween-themed food for the potluck that would be great fun!
